My goal was to find out via this study what exactly learners would be more confident about, more capable of, and better equipped to perform through active participation while they learn and to gather those feelings and statistics in meaningful ways to present to stakeholders who are unsure about the resource commitment of on-the-job training.  I was able to derive quantitative and qualitative data to present to companies that I work with that there is a clear benefit to on-the-job training in that it truly increases worker self-efficacy, performance, and satisfaction in training.
